As a new academy school, we have not yet been inspected by Ofsted and MANY changes have occurred since the last inspection in January 2017, which can be viewed here.
We have a robust self-evaluation system in place and constantly strive for excellence.
Our staff are highly motivated in making our school a hub for learning where all children are able to achieve.

What will we be learning this year?
Autumn Term - That's All Folks! Lindow Man, Athens v Sparta
We start our year with our communication driver. In That's All Folks, we learn about the history of film and animation.
Next we move on to Lindow Man: the story of Prehistoric Man.
Finally, we look at the conflict driver in our Athens v Sparta, where we explore conflict in Ancient Greece.
Spring Term - Rocky the Findosaur, Come Fly with Me! Africa, Founding Father
The first focus of the Spring term is Rocky the Findosaur, a science project on rocks and fossils.
Our culture theme is Come Fly with Me! Africa, which looks at the geography and history of the continent.
Founding Father is the story of Henri Dunant, founder of the International Red Cross.
Summer Term - Under the Canopy, Out and About
Under the Canopy is a conservation theme, which explores the importance of the rainforest as well as Mexican/Mayan heritage.
Out and About has a geography focus , looking at the local area and the rest of the UK.
