We take care, we show care.

Salty seeds

Children have linked their science to geography and have investigated how tomatoes are grown in hot countries like Mexico.  They learned that in Mexico's hot climate, when plants are watered  high concentrations of salt rise to the surface and kill the seeds.  To help seeds become more resilient to the high salt levels, they are soaked in a salt solution prior to planting.  Children have started their investigation as to much salt will result in the best growth.  Watch this space as the investigation progresses.
