We take care, we show care.

Marrows from our Keyhole Garden

This autumn we have had a bumper harvest of runner beans and courgettes in our keyhole garden.  Children have been amazed at the size of the marrows and courgettes the garden has yielded, as well as the runner beans.  Children have also enjoyed harvesting the crop and in Y5 children sketched the marrows before slicing them up, frying them in butter and serving them to children and staff across the school.

With this years marrow harvest, children sampled baked marrows. The verdict? Very YUMMY!!!
