In Geography during the Summer Term we should have been learning all about 'Filey' as a coastal study. Similar to the History, I would love to see any work around this topic area that you would like to do whilst you are staying at home. Email it to firstname.lastname@example.org
Try to be as creative as you can. I can't wait to see what you produce.
In History during the Summer term we would have been learning all about the Ancient Greeks. This is a fascinating topic and you could find out all sorts of information and produce lots of different work around this topic. I would love to see some of your work, so feel free to e-mail any work you do to:
I look forward to seeing all of your great ideas around this topic.
I hope you are well and keeping happy and safe. We are now 'officially' at the end of the Spring term and the beginning of the Easter Holidays. Time to eat lots of chocolate, I know I will be!
Over the next few days, I will add some new learning that we had planned for you during Summer term 1.
Keep checking this page.
Also keep up with your Bedrock and TT Rockstars work and read as regularly as you can.
See you all soon.
I hope you are all looking after yourselves and your family, keeping well and staying safe and happy at this unusual time. Over the next couple of weeks I will post activities on here for you to try out and to keep you busy.
Stay safe and I hope to see you all very soon.
Welcome to class 5HD! I hope you have had a fabulous Summer and are as excited as I am about the new school year.
Our class theme this year is 'Dr Seuss'. If you work hard and always try your best, Cat will notice and you may have a chance of becoming 'Star of the Week' and you will be rewarded with a trophy to keep on your desk all week!
Please note that on PE days children with pierced ears will be expected to remove earrings or cover them with tape as staff are not permitted to do so.
Please keep checking our page for updates.
Autumn term 2019
This term we will be learning all about what life was like during the Victorian times, with a particular focus on the introduction of the Steam Engines and the Industrial Revolution. We will be doing lots of exciting pieces of work relating to this topic and I can't wait to get started on it.
This term our Novel Study is based on 'Street Child' by Berlie Doherty. When you enter the classroom on the first day, look around carefully for any clues as to what the story might be about.
I can't wait to get started with all of this exciting work and I hope you are just as excited too. See you very soon!
